Odisha to witness rainfall for two days
Bhubaneswar(24/12/2024): Several parts of Odisha are likely to experience rainfall for two days starting from today due to an active low-pressure system in the Bay of Bengal.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rainfall in coastal and interior Odisha. Light rainfall is expected in districts like Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Puri, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Malkangiri, and Koraput today.
However, the rainfall intensity is expected to decrease on December 25. After 24 hours, the temperature is expected to gradually drop by 2-4 degrees Celsius, leading to a rise in cold wave conditions.
