President Droupadi Murmu releases commemorative coin & postage stamp on Constitution Day

New Delhi (26/11/2024): President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday released a commemorate coin and postage stamp to mark the 75th years of the Constitution of India at Samvidhan Bhawan in New Delhi. The commemorative coin and postage stamp were dedicated to the 75th anniversary of adoption of Constitution of India. The President also unveiled the first Sanskrit copy of Samvidhan. She also released a book titled "Making of the Constitution of India: A Glimpse" and "Making of the Constitution of India & It's Glorious Journey". Appreciating the initiatives of the Centre for India's development, the President said, "The government has given opportunities to all sections of the society, especially the weaker sections and poor people are getting permanent houses, electricity facilities are being provided and world class infrastructure is being created on a large scale in the country.".
