President’s helicopter escapes mishap in Kerala
Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): President Droupadi Murmu’s helicopter narrowly escaped a major accident in Kerala on Wednesday.
During landing, the newly constructed concrete helipad suddenly caved in, causing one of the chopper’s wheels to get stuck. A portion of the helipad broke under the pressure as the helicopter touched down. The incident took place at Pramadam Stadium when President Murmu was on her way to Sabarimala Ayappa Temple.
Police and fire service personnel immediately rushed to the spot and safely pulled the chopper out of the damaged area.
Thanks to their quick action, a major mishap was averted, and the President remained unharmed.
