RATNA BHANDAR TO OPEN TOMORROW: ODISHA LAW MINISTER

Bhubaneswar (13/07/2024): The process of opening of the Ratna Bhandar of Puri Srimandir will start from tomorrow, said Odisha Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan on Saturday. The Minister informed that the Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) will be followed in the process of the opening of the Ratna Bhandar. He said, "The SOP has been provided to the concerned people.

Efforts are being made to keep everything transparent in the inventory.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) officials will remain present during the opening. Shree Jagannath Temple Chief Administrator has been given the responsibility to find out an auspicious time (subha muhurta) for opening of the Ratna Bhandar.

A digital catalogue of the different jewelleries of the Ratna Bhandar is to be prepared.".
