Two criminals injured in police encounter
Jharsuguda (12/04/2025): Two criminals were injured in police encounter in Jharsuguda. The criminals have been identified as Shekh Ashish and Abhishek Barik. The exchange of fire took place on the Belpahar-Jharsuguda road.
According to reports, Ashish was a suspect in a minor rape case and allegedly attacked the police when they tried to apprehend him.
He had two prior cases registered against him, and his accomplice in the rape case remains at large.
