Vikas Bahan launched in Odisha
Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): The state-level launch of the "Vikas Bahan" program was held in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.
This initiative aims to take the development messages of the state government to rural areas.
The "Vikas Bahan" van will travel to all 314 blocks, 5 municipal corporations and 115 municipalities across Odisha till June 21. It aims to raise public awareness about various welfare schemes and programs of the state government.
The CM said, "In the last one year, significant changes have been brought in the education sector. Proactive steps have been taken for uplifting the poor, backward classes, women and youths. All the welfare schemes should reach out to the people in grassroots level."
Launching the initiative in Bhubaneswar, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi highlighted the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in driving India's development. He mentioned the government's firm stance against terrorism and the successful operations conducted to tackle it.
