Direct flight service from Bhubaneswar to UAE launched

Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday launched the direct flight service from Bhubaneswar to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). 

Flagging off the service from the Biju Patnaik International Airport here, the Chief Minister said, "The initiative launched to mark the Odisha government's first anniversary as a gift for the people of the state marks a significant milestone in the state's aviation history.

The flight service, operated by IndiGo Airlines, will connect Bhubaneswar to Abu Dhabi.

The flight will operate three days a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. This new air link under the B-MAAN scheme is expected to boost tourism, trade, business and cultural exchanges between Odisha and the UAE."
