Increased pension amount for Puri Srimandir servitors

Puri(By Abhishek Mohanty): The pension amount for the Puri Jagannath Temple servitors has been increased.
According to information shared by the Chief Administrator of the Temple, Arabinda Padhee,
the monthly senior servitor allowance has been raised from Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,000.
The increased pension will be effective from January 2026.

The marriage assistance amount for servitors’ daughters has been increased to Rs 1 lakh.

A message will now appear on ATMs for voluntary donations to the Temple.
When devotees visiting Puri withdraw money from an ATM, a message will be displayed.
Before the receipt is generated, the ATM will show a message asking:
“Would you like to voluntarily donate something to the Temple?”

If a devotee agrees, the donation can be deducted directly from their card.
Padhee stated that they will discuss this initiative with the bank authorities.
