Kolkata-bound flights make emergency landing at Bhubaneswar airport, passengers voice dissatisfaction

Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): Tension prevailed at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar after more than 25 passengers heading to Kolkata got stranded at the airport for several hours.
Reportedly, a group of passengers created chaos in front of the gates of the airport demanding quick departure of the flights.
Due to strong winds and heavy rainfall in Kolkata, eight flights halted at Bhubaneswar airport. While six flights took off along with its passengers following improvement in weather conditions, two flights continued to remained grounded at the airport for more than 12 hours.
The airport authorities assured the passengers that all arrangements for the safe journey to their destination.
