180 PLATOONS OF POLICE FORCE TO BE DEPLOYED IN PURI FOR RATH YATRA
Puri(10/06/2023) : As many as 180 platoons of police force will be deployed in Puri for the smooth conduct of the Rath Yatra. According to Puri SP Kanwar Vishal Singh, a detail discussion on security arrangements for the grand festival was held.
The pilgrim town of Puri will be under a thick security blanket during the festival A team of Rapid Action Force headed by IG (Central Range) Ashish Kumar Singh conducted a mock drill in front of the Singha Dwara of the 12th century shrine today.
