20 individuals awarded Police Medals for distinguished service
Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): On the occasion of Republic Day, Odisha Governor Haribabu Kambhampati awarded police medals to 20 individuals for distinguished service.
The ceremony was organized at the Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi was present.
In Category-1, IPS officers Niti Shekhar and Satyajit Nayak received police medals.
In Category-2, Puri SP Prateek Singh and Anupama Mahapatra were awarded the Governor’s Medal.
In Category-3, Sacchidananda Rath and Prasanna Kumar Raut received medals.
In Category-4, Karunakara Raut and Anusuya Senapati were awarded medals. Rakesh Prasad Jena also received a medal in Category-4.
Additionally, 9 individuals received the President’s Medal for Gallantry.
Naresh Patel and Rabindra Panda were awarded medals for distinguished service.
Additionally, 11 individuals received medals for meritorious service.
