5-DAY WORKSHOP ON SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND PERSONAL EFFECTIVENESS AT WORKPLACE OF SCIENTISTS & TECHNOLOGISTS HELD AT XIM UNIVERSITY

Bhubaneswar (10/12/2023): A 5-day workshop funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) was conducted at Xavier Institute of Management(XIM Bhubaneswar) from 20-24 November 2023 on the theme - "Social Responsibility and Personal Effectiveness at Workplace of Scientists and Technologists".

The workshop was coordinated by Dr.Mousumi Padhi, Associate Dean, School of Human Resource Management, XIM University and Dr.Subhra Pattnaik, Associate Professor, School of Human Resource Management, XIM University.

It saw enthusiastic participation from scientists from diverse organizations in India such as DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India , Central Silk Board, Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology, Ground Water Division, Government of Odisha, Odisha Space Applications Center (ORSAC) , Central Ayurvedic Research Institute, ICMR NIREH , ICAR-CIFA CIFA.

“The workshop generated interesting insights through meaningful interactions and left us with beautiful memories”, said a joyous participant from DRDO.

Thanks to Regional Plant Resource Centre (RPRC) for the wonderful field trip that provided us an opportunity to learn from nature.

The coordinators expressed their gratitude for the respected Vice Chancellor, XIM University, Fr.Antony R Uvari, S.J.and the respected CFO, XIM University, Fr.Arockia Das Vanathaian , S.J.for their unstinted support in making the program successful.
