ACTOR, COMEDIAN, PRODUCER MATTHEW LANGFORD PERRY PASSES AWAY
Bhubaneswar(29/10/2023): The beloved 'Friends' actor, Matthew Perry, aged 54 has passed away.
Crores of people around the world were shocked to learn of the death of their beloved Matthew Perry on Sunday morning.
Perry was most known for playing Chandler Bing in the iconic television comedy "Friends." The actor's body was discovered in a hot tub.
It still feels like yesterday that the Friends : The Reunion was aired in 2021.
Friends was one of the most loved American TV series of all time and his Chandler Bing, being the most favourite and lovable character.
There are some celebrity losses that feel personal and this was one of them.
It's not because of the loss of the person but because of the loss of a true friend, a comfort character, a charming human and a natural comedian who made people laugh effortlessly. All those acquainted with him as "Chandler Bing" are also aware of his hardships in real life.
In the process of filming FRIENDS, where he played a witty and wisecracking character, he battled addiction.
In his memoir Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing, published in 2022, he discussed his health in detail.
At one time, Matthew had taken over fifty painkillers and had endured 14 major surgeries on his stomach.
According to what he wrote in the book, "if I did die, it would shock people, but it wouldn't surprise anybody," he stated in an October 2022 People Magazine interview.
