Alumni Conference and Annual Festival 'Shikshadipam' Held by the Postgraduate Department of Education at FMU

The Alumni Conference and Annual Festival 'Shikshadipam' of the Postgraduate Department of Education was successfully held at the Fakir Mohan University campus, Remuna.
The Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Santosh Kumar Tripathy, attended the Annual Festival as the Chief Guest. Professor Jyoti Shankar Pradhan, a faculty member of the department, delivered the welcome address. Dr. Choudhury Satyabrata Nanda participated as the Keynote Speaker, while Professor Bhaskar Behera, President of the Postgraduate Council, attended as the Guest of Honour.
The dignitaries delivered inspiring speeches to the students. Both the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor and the Keynote Speaker emphasized the importance of personality development for becoming true educators in today's world.
During the Alumni Conference, Professor Amulya Kumar Acharya, Head of the Department, along with other faculty members, the Secretary and Treasurer of the Alumni Association, and many alumni of the Education Department, were present. Choudhury Satyabrata Nanda, as the Chief Guest, formally inaugurated the conference proceedings.
Winners of various competitions organized as part of the Annual Festival were felicitated during the event.
On this occasion, students of the department presented a variety of engaging cultural performances.
Sulagna Padhi, a third-year student of the Integrated B.Ed.–M.Ed. programme, conducted the proceedings of the event, while Sadhana Kundu, a second-year student of the same programme, proposed the vote of thanks.
