AMBULANCE CATCHES FIRE AFTER HITTING TRUCK

Jaleswar(23/06/2024): An ambulance caught fire after hitting a truck on NH-16 near Chhak under Rupsa police limits in Balasore district on Sunday. At least four persons sustained critical injuries in the mishap.

The ambulance was ferrying three patients from Basta to Balasore district headquarters hospital when the accident took place. Soon after the incident, the truck driver escaped from the spot. The driver of the ambulance also sustained critical injuries and was admitted to the district headquarters hospital.

The three others were shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
