Blood Donation Camp Organized by Biju Yuva Chhatra Janata Dal on the Occasion of Naveen Patnaik’s Birthday
Balasore, Oct 16 (Krushna Kumar Mohanty): On the occasion of former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s 79th birthday, the Biju Yuva Chhatra Janata Dal organized a blood donation camp today at the District Headquarters Hospital Blood Bank in Balasore. A total of 102 units of blood were collected during the camp.
The camp was coordinated by former student leader Siman Das Mahapatra, with active support from former District Youth President Tapas Parida, former Zonal President Jayaram Das, former State General Secretary Tapas Panigrahi, former State Youth General Secretary Omprakash Mahapatra, and youth leaders Asit Das, Shaktipada Ray, Sanjeev Das, Sanjay Sethi, Gaur Mallik, Sarat Behera, Aniruddha Pradhan, and Lambodar Behera.
Among the distinguished guests present were former MP Rabindra Kumar Jena, Zilla Parishad Chairperson Narayan Pradhan, Municipality Chairperson Sabita Sahoo, senior BJD leader Barada Prasanna Pattanaik, Block Chairperson Sunita Behera, BBC Bank Chairperson Ganesh Mahapatra, Urban Bank Chairperson Suryakant Kar, former BRIT Chairperson Alok Sahoo, farmer leader Ajay Samal, women leaders Ashrita Tarei, Ranjita Mahapatra, Salima Bibi, Preetilata Sethi, Roji Pattanaik, Minati Sethi, and Sonali Saha, and student leaders Sushil Panda, Rahul Nayak, Gajendra Nayak, Narottam Das, Omkar Nayak, Harsh Khandelwal, Sambit Nayak, and Debaraj De, who all contributed to the success of the blood collection drive.
