COCAINE WORTH RS 200 CRORE SEIZED FROM SHIP IN PARADIP

Paradip(01/12/2023): Cocaine worth around Rs 200 crore was seized from a ship in Paradip on Friday. Paradip police, CISF and Customs department seized 22 packets of cocaine from a cargo ship, MV Debi anchored at Paradip Port late on Thursday night. The powder was sent for examination following the seizure and it was found that the powder like substance in the form of cakes was cocaine.

The ship arrived at Paradip from Gresik port in Indonesia and was scheduled to depart for Denmark carrying steel plates from Odisha.
