Compensation to be given for crop damage in Odisha
Bhubaneswar (31/07/2024): Odisha Agriculture Minister K.V.Singh Deo informed the State Assembly that compensation will be provided to farmers affected by the recent rainfall, based on the report of the Revenue Inspector. Singhdeo said that after receiving the report from the Revenue Inspector, compensation will be given to the farmers whose crops have been damaged due to the rainfall. Farmers in Malkangiri district will be given compensation, he added.
