Rainfall activity to increase in Odisha from today

Bhubaneswar (31/07/2024): Heavy rainfall is expected in Odisha for the next 3 days.

A low-pressure system is active over Jharkhand and its surrounding areas, along with a monsoon trough line.

Under its influence, rainfall activity will increase in the state from today. Meanwhile, the water level in the Mahanadi river at Mundali barrage in Cuttack district has decreased.

Yesterday, 4 lakh 85 thousand cusecs of water was flowing, but now it has decreased to 4 lakh 74 thousand cusecs.
