Condolence Meeting Held at Balangi Degree College

Balasore, January 10 (Krushna Kumar Mohanty): A condolence meeting was held at Balangi Degree College following the demise of its former Principal, Major Gourashyam Mishra. The meeting was organised under the chairmanship of the present Principal, Dr Ratnakar Singh.
Major Gourashyam Mishra served as the Principal of the college from 2005 to 2017. During his tenure, he played a key role in bringing the institution under the grant-in-aid system. Owing to his scholarship, dedication, sense of responsibility, and noble qualities, he was widely respected and admired by students, teaching staff, and non-teaching employees alike.
On the occasion, all members of the college family offered tearful tributes and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
