Curfew restrictions relaxed in Cuttack as normalcy returns

Cuttack(By Abhishek Mohanty): The 36-hour curfew imposed in Cuttack has been lifted after remaining in force till 10 AM on Tuesday. 

Police Commissioner S Dev Datta Singh has appealed to people to maintain peace.

The authorities have not announced any further extension of curfew restrictions.

With the relaxation of restrictions, daily life and vehicular movement have returned to normal across the city.

The curfew was imposed after a clash broke out between two groups at Darghabazar during immersion procession of Maa Durga idol.
