DAYS AFTER MAN'S DEATH, THREE OF HIS FAMILY END LIFE IN BARGARH
Bargarh (11/09/2023): A woman, her son and daughter ended lives by consuming poison. The incident happened days after the woman's husband died at Masterpada under Sohela police limits in Bargarh district. The deceased have been identified as Kumudini Sahoo (50), her son Bansidhar Sahoo (25) and her daughter Subarna (23). Kumudini and her two children were under severe mental stress following the death of her husband Arjun Sahoo on September 6. The bereaved family members consumed pesticide to end their lives yesterday.
Police rushed them to Sohela Community Health Centre from where they were shifted to VIMSAR in Burla after their condition deteriorated. Subarna died on the way to Burla while her brother Bansidhar breathed his last while being treated at the hospital.
Their mother died during treatment at the hospital this morning.
