Drunk driving prohibited on Zero Night in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): The Commissionerate Police have announced strict action against drunk driving on Zero Night. 

Police Commissioner S. Devdutta Singh said that anyone found driving under the influence of alcohol will face legal action, including seizure of the vehicle and production before the court.
To ensure public safety, police checkpoints will be set up at 18 locations across the city, while 29 sensitive spots will be kept under close surveillance. Five Quick Response Team (QRT) units will remain on alert, and 18 platoons of police force will be deployed for security arrangements.
He said, "The police have also imposed a ban on playing music after 12 midnight on Zero Night."
