ELECTION COMMISSION MAKES RECORD SEIZURE OF RS 10000 CR
Bhubaneswar (03/06/2024): The Election Commission of India (ECI) has made a record seizure of almost Rs 10,000 crore during this election.
This is nearly three times the value seized in 2019. In a press conference, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said, "The entire counting process is absolutely robust and works similar to the precision of a clock.
Postal ballot counting for Lok Sabha election will start first.
After only half an hour, the EVM counting will commence." He highlighted that we have created a world record of 642 million voters this time.
This is 1.5 times voters of all G7 countries and 2.5 times voters of 27 countries in European Union.
