ASHWINI VAISHNAW NAMED BJP CANDIDATE FOR RAJYA SABHA ELECTION
Bhubaneswar (14/02/2024): Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has been named as the BJP candidate for the upcoming Rajya Sabha election in Odisha. Earlier, the BJD had announced the names of Debashish Samantaray and Subhashish Khuntia as it's nominees to the Rajya Sabha. However, the ruling party has not announced it's third nominee. In 2019, Vaishnaw was also elected to the Rajya Sabha as BJP candidate. The polling will be held on February 27 between 9 am and 4 pm.
The counting of votes will be conducted on the very day at 5 pm.
