CONCRETE MIXTURE VEHICLE OVERTURNS IN JAGATSINGHPUR, FIVE RESCUED

Jagatsinghpur (14/02/2024): One concrete mixture vehicle overturned near Raghunathpur in Jagatsinghpur district on Wednesday.

The vehicle was returning from Paradip when the incident took place.

Raghunathpur fire services staff rescued four injured persons and shifted them to a nearest hospital. Another person is trapped under the overturned vehicle.

Fire services personnel from Jagatsinghpur, Raghunathpur, Biridi and striking fire force were engaged for rescue work with advance rescue tendor.

The trapped person hailing from Uttar Pradesh was rescued successfully by using pneumatic jack, telelescopic jack, ramjack and other rescue gears.

He was then shifted to Raghunathpur Community Health Centre for treatment.

Later, he was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for better treatment. The rescue operation was a great challenging job.

Finally, the Odisha Fire and Emergency team rescued the person safely and sent him to hospital.
