PM Modi highlights inspiring journey of Odisha farmer, urges digital vigilance in Mann Ki Baat

New Delhi(By Abhishek Mohanty): In the 131st episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spotlighted the inspiring journey of young farmer Hirod Patel from Odisha and reiterated the importance of caution against digital fraud.

The Prime Minister recounted how Hirod Patel transitioned from traditional paddy farming alongside his father Shiv Shankar Patel to adopting innovative agricultural practices, demonstrating the transformative potential of modern techniques in farming.

The PM also addressed the rising incidents of “digital arrest” and online scams, emphasizing the significance of the KYC (Know Your Customer) process and encouraging citizens to remain vigilant about digital safety, even as public awareness increases.

Additionally, PM Modi lauded Sherin Abraham, Kerala’s youngest organ donor, and highlighted the importance of promoting organ donation awareness across the country.

He concluded his address by extending greetings on the occasions of Ramadan and Holi, wishing for unity and harmony among citizens.
