Engineering student dies by suicide in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar (01/05/2025): An engineering student died by suicide in Bhubaneswar. His body was found near the railway tracks near Lingaraj Station. The deceased has been identified as Tapan Acharya (22) from Botanda Mahaveer Nagar in Bhubaneswar.
He was the student of a local private engineering college. His father Ajay Acharya held the local private engineering college authorities responsible over Tapan's death.
According to Ajay Acharya, the college confiscated Tapan's mobile phone earlier that day, which distressed his son.
Due to mental presssure, he ended life, he said. The body of Tapan was located near the railway station with the help of a tracking device on his electric vehicle.
