Cuttack (By Abhishek Mohanty): President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday graced the 13th convocation of Ravenshaw University in Cuttack.

The President said, "Female students outperformed their male peers in academics and placements over the past two years."

Urging the students to become job givers rather than job seekers, President Murmu called on the graduates to drive the progress of India through innovation, a strong sense of responsibly, and a commitment to inclusive growth.

President Murmu praised the contribution of the University to the social and cultural awakening, calling the convocation ceremony not only an academic celebration but a reflection of the nation's future potential.

She advised the students to uphold values, take pride in their roots, and continue meaningfully to the development of the country.

She emphasized the need for caution in the use of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, 3D Printing, and Cloud Computing.
The President said that it is important to remain vigilant about the misuse of these advanced tools.

She laid the foundation stone for redevelopment of three buildings of Ravenshaw Girls' High School.
The President conferred degree certificates and gold medals to meritorious students.
Besides, four eminent personalities were honoured with honorary doctorates.
