FIRE BREAKS OUT IN BHUBANESWAR-HOWRAH JAN SHATABDI EXPRESS

Cuttack (07/12/2023): A fire broke out in the Bhubaneswar-Howrah Jan Shatabdi Express at Cuttack station on Thursday. The train (12074) was heading towards Howrah of West Bengal from Bhubaneswar when the blaze was noticed beneath a coach.

Fire services personnel rushed to the spot and doused the flames. No injury was reported in the mishap. Sources said that the incident happened due to a problem with the brake binding during a halt at platform number 2 of the station. Later, the train left the station for its destination after a check-up.
