Fire broke out in superfast train at Brahmapur station

Berhampur (By Abhishek Mohanty): A fire broke out in a superfast train at Brahmapur raimway station in Ganjam district on Monday.

The superfast train was travelling from Guwahati to Bengaluru.

While the train was halted at the station, fire was seen coming out from the underside of the B2 coach.

Railway staff brought the fire under control. 

After about 40 minutes, the train proceeded to its destination.

No injury was reported.
