FOUR KILLED, 15 INJURED IN SEPARATE ROAD MISHAPS
Jajpur/Hinjili(06/04/2024): At least four persons died and 15 others sustained injuries in two separate road mishaps in Odisha. The first incident was reported from Ganjam district where two persons lost their lives and 15 others sustained injuries when a pick-up van carrying them overturned near Dahimundali village under Pallipada panchayat. Seven critically injured persons were shifted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur. In another incident, a father-son duo died in a road accident near Baruhan Chhak in Jajpur district.
The deceased have been identified as the residents of Similia panchayat.
The incident happened when the two were returning home on a motorcycle from their relatives' house.
They were hit by an unknown vehicle.
While the father died on the spot, the youth was declared dead by doctors at Jajpur hospital.
