Freedom fighters' pension hiked in Odisha

Bhubaneswar(02/01/2025): The Odisha government on Thursday announced a hike in pension of jailed freedom fighters. The pension has been hiked to Rs 20,000 per month from the earlier Rs 10,000.

Freedom fighters who were not jailed will get Rs 15,000 instead of Rs 9,000.

Pension of freedom fighters, who also received central pension, has been revised to Rs 10,000 per month from the earlier Rs 8,000. This was informed by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
