Antyodaya Gruha Yojana to be implemented in Odisha

Bhubaneswar(08/02/2025): The Odisha Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Saturday approved 11 important proposals. It was decided implement the Antyodaya Gruha Yojana in the state.
The scheme aims at providing Pucca houses to those left out of previous housing schemes.
Under this initiative, beneficiaries will receive financial assistance of Rs 1.20 lakh to construct their homes. A total of 2.5 lakh houses will be provided within the next three years to those affected by natural calamities. The Cabinet has also approved the construction of a spillway near the Hirakud Dam and the development of stadiums in 314 blocks across the state. For promotion of football, cricket, badminton and Kho Kho games, an amount of Rs 4126 crore will be spent in the next five years .
