HEAVY RAIN IN ODISHA FOR FOUR DAYS FROM DECEMBER 3

Bhubaneswar(02/12/2023): The deep depression over Southeast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal is likely to move west-north-westwards and intensify into a deep depression in the next 12 hours. Later, it is likely to intensify further intensify into a cyclonic storm and cross South Andhra Pradesh adjacent to Tamil Nadu coasts between Chennai and Machilipatnam around the evening of December 4. Then it is likely to move towards Odisha.

Under its influence, several places of Southern and coastal Odisha districts are likely to experience heavy rainfall on December 3 and 4. The amount of rainfall is likely to increase on December 5 and 6.
