Heavy rainfall leads to massive traffic jams in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): Several parts of Bhubaneswar witnessed massive traffic chaos after heavy rainfall lashed the capital city on Friday.

Traffic congestion was reported on major roads including the stretch from Jaydev Vihar to Nandankanan, Rasulgarh, Mausima Square, Sisu Bhawan Square, Rasulgarh, Bomikhal, etc., during the busy office and school hours.

Waterlogging was also witnessed at Rasulgarh, Old Town, Nayapalli, Jaydev Vihar and many other places.
Commuters have expressed their frustration over prolonged travel times and lack of proper drainage  in several low-lying areas.
