HOLIDAY ANNOUNCED FOR COLLEGES, UNIVERSITIES IN ODISHA ON JULY 8

Bhubaneswar (06/07/2024): The Odisha Higher Education Department on Saturday announced that all colleges and universities in Odisha shall remain closed on July 8, 2024, on account of the Rath Yatra holiday announced by the State government. As per the press release from the Information & Public Relations department, all the institutions coming under the jurisdiction of the Higher Education department shall remain closed on Monday, July 8. Earlier, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi had announced a two-day holiday as Rath Yatra will be observed for two days this year.
