Indian diasporas in Japan condemn Pahalgam terror attack

Guwahati: In a sincere show of unity and resilience, members of the Indian community in Japan came together in Tokyo on Thursday to condemn the recent terror attack in Pahalgam of the Kashmir valley, where 26 innocent Indian tourists were killed by Islamist terrorists on 22 April 2025. Holding national tri-colour and placards, the participants stood in solemn silence near the iconic Hachiko statue in Shibuya station area to honour the victims and express solidarity with the bereaved families.
The gathering echoed a collective message against terrorism and violence across the globe. The peaceful demonstration highlighted the unwavering spirit of Indian diasporas in Japan and their commitment to peace, justice, and humanity. The participants included students, professionals, representatives from various Indian organizations in Japan along with their families.
They canted number slogans including Bharat Mata Ki Joi, Pakistan Murdabad, Hindu Lives Matter, etc.
"We may be far from home, but our hearts remain deeply connected. Today, we come together not just to mourn, but to stand for something greater- a world without terrorism," said a participant. They also urged the global citizens to speak up against terrorism, nurtured by Pakistan, and support the initiative that promotes peace and harmony across borders.
