KAUDIYAS THRONG SHIVA TEMPLES ACROSS ODISHA ON FIRST MONDAY OF SHRAVANA MONTH

Bhubaneswar(22/07/2024): Thousands of Kaudiyas (Bol Bam devotees) thronged Shiva temples across Odisha to pour holy water on Shivalingas on the first Monday of sacred month of Shravana. Bol Bam devotees, both men and women, made a beeline at the centuries old Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar to pour holy water on Lord Shiva and offer special prayers. Devotees were also seen standing in long queues at other Shiva shrines including Baba Dhabaleswar in Cuttack, Baba Lokanath in Puri, Akhandalamani at Aradi in Bhadrak, Panchalingeswar in Balasore, Ladu Baba temple at Saranakula in Nayagarh and Kapilas in Dhenkanal.
