Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): Manmohan Samal has been elected as the President of Odisha BJP for the fourth time.
He was welcomed by the senior party leaders and workers.
During the nomination process held on July 7, Samal emerged as the sole candidate, with no other nominations being filed.
Samal had served as the State President of the party from 1999 to 2000, again from 2000 to 2004, and then from March 2003 to the present.
He has also served as a Minister and an MLA in the past.
In 2024 general elections, he had played a significant role in steering the BJP to power.
