Melanistic tiger safari to come up at Similipal

Baripada(29/07/2024): A melanistic tiger safari will come up at Similipal in Mayurbhanj district. The Central Zoo Authority gave nod to the safari. It will be set up on 100 acres of land at Manjiapada in Baripada. The melanistic tiger at Nandankanan Zoological Park on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar will be sent to the safari.

This was informed by Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Susanta Nanda on Monday.
