North-western rain brings relief from heatwave in Odisha
Bhubaneswar(21/03/2025): Nor-wester rain brought down the maximum temperature in several parts of Odisha, bringing relief from the prevailing heatwave condition. The India Meteorological Department has predicted that hail and strong winds may prevail in most places of the state till March 23. The districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda and Sambalpur are likely to experience rainfall, hail and wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph.
