Separate road accidents claim one life, leaves seven injured
Cuttack/Bhawanipatna(21/03/2025): Two separate road accidents claimed the life of a person and left seven others injured in Odisha. According to reports, one person died while six others sustained injuries after the vehicle carrying the members of a wedding party overturned at Chiliguda under Koksara police station in Kalahandi district.
The injured were rushed to Bhawanipatna hospital.
The occupants of the vehicle were returning from Chhattisgarh when the mishap occurred. In the second incident, a head-on collision took place between an oil tanker and a Hyva truck on Cuttack - Paradip road. The driver of the tanker got stuck inside the mangled vehicle.
He was rescued by the Fire Services personnel.
The driver was injured in the accident.
