Notorious criminal injured in police encounter on Bhubaneswar outskirts

Bhubaneswar(17/02/2025): A notorious apartment looter was injured in an encounter with police at Balianta on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar on Monday. The criminal has been identified as Arjun Anare. The encounter took place early in the morning when Arjun and his gang members were attempting to loot an apartment.

Arjun was shot in the left leg and was rushed to AIIMS Bhubaneswar. According to reports, Arjun and his gang of five members, including himself, had come from Madhya Pradesh to commit the crime in Bhubaneswar.

However, during the encounter, the other four members of the gang managed to flee .
