Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Smt. Pravati Parida’s Visit to Balasore: Review of Talasari and Chandipur Beach Development

Balasore, 02/05 (Krushna Kumar Mohanty): Odisha’s Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Women & Child Development, Mission Shakti, and Tourism, Smt. Pravati Parida, today visited the coastal tourist destinations of Talasari and Chandipur in Balasore district to inspect and review various developmental activities.
She departed from her official residence at 11 a.m. and arrived by air at the temporary helipad in Talasari at 1 p.m. Upon arrival, she was warmly received with a bouquet by Balasore MP and former Union Minister Pratap Chandra Sarangi, Bhogarai MLA Gautam Buddha Das, Balasore Sadar MLA Manas Kumar Dutta, along with senior political leaders and top district officials including Collector Suryabanshi Mayur Vikas, Superintendent of Police Raj Prasad, and Additional District Magistrate (Revenue) Hemanta Singh.
Under tight security arrangements, the Deputy CM briefly stayed at a local guest house before heading for a detailed inspection of Talasari Beach. Odisha Tourism Secretary Balwant Singh also accompanied her during the visit. She reviewed various ongoing development projects under the coastal beautification initiative, including the construction of embankments, roads, and lighting systems.
Following her visit to Talasari, she proceeded to Chandipur Beach, where she reviewed the infrastructure and tourist amenities under implementation for enhanced visitor experience.
Prominent among those present during the visit were Government Deputy Chief Whip and Remuna MLA Gobinda Chandra Das, Basta MLA Smt. Subasini Jena, Nilagiri MLA Santosh Khatua, Collector Suryabanshi Mayur Vikas, Additional Collector (General) Sudhakar Nayak, and Sub-Collector Prathamesh Aravind Rajesirke, along with other senior officials.
During the return leg of her visit, she paid homage at Pahelgam village to the late Sushant Satpathy. The arrangements were effectively managed by various administrative officials including Sri Braja Gopal Das, T.R.O. Surya Kumar Nayak, Bhogarai Tahasildar Sanjib Kumar Patra, T.R.O. Ashwini Kumar Nayak, Tahasildar Dr. Madhusmita Samantray, APD Sushant Kumar Nayak, Additional Tahasildar Prakash Kumar Mishra, and Assistant Collector-cum-Executive Magistrate.
All scheduled programs were successfully executed with coordination from the police, health departments, and other concerned officers under her ministries, as per the itinerary issued by the Deputy Chief Minister’s office.
