Odisha Legislative Assembly Speaker visits AIIMS Bhubaneswar, participates in Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Campaign

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): Surama Padhy, Speaker of the Odisha Legislative Assembly, visited AIIMS Bhubaneswar yesterday and actively participated in the ongoing Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar campaign, a significant initiative by the national institute aimed at promoting women’s health and empowering families.
During her visit, Speaker Madam underwent health screening for hypertension and non-communicable diseases (NCDs). She also engaged with the beneficiaries and healthcare providers involved in the campaign, gaining first-hand insight into the impact of the programme.

Welcoming the Speaker, Dr. Ashutosh Biswas, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhubaneswar, expressed his appreciation, stating, “Her noble gesture of participating in the health screening and interacting with beneficiaries will certainly inspire all stakeholders to make the Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan a grand success.”

Surama Padhy lauded the efforts of AIIMS Bhubaneswar in organizing comprehensive health screenings for women as part of the campaign. She also commended the dedication and professionalism of the healthcare providers for their exemplary service.

The Speaker was accompanied by senior dignitaries, faculty members, and staff during her visit.
