Pahalgam terror attack: Security heightened along Odisha Coast

Puri: Security has been heightened along the Odisha coast following the deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir that killed 26 people.

The maritime police and Astrang police with the help of Navy personnel have intensified patrolling in the Devi river mouth and coastal areas. The activities of suspicious persons or boats are being closely monitored.

Fishermen have been advised to carry their Aadhaar cards with them while going for fishing.
High alert has been sounded at major sea routes and railway stations across India to prevent any untoward incident.
