Rs 215 crore to be spent for development of Maa Tarini Temple Complex

Keonjhar (14/04/2025): The Odisha government has prepared Detailed Project Report (DPR) at a cost of Rs 215 crore for the development of Maa Tarini Temple Complex at Ghatagaon in Keonjhar district.

This was announced by Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Monday. The Chief Minister visited Maa Tarini Temple for darshan of the Goddess on the auspicious occasion of Maha Bisuba Sankranti and Chaiti Parba. He said that work for the project will commence soon. The 89th Chaiti Parba was celebrated at the Maa Tarini Peetha. Devotees in huge numbers made a beeline to the temple to witness the 'Suna Besha' (golden attire) of Maa Tarini.
