Sahid Nagar Residential Welfare Forum Meeting places emphasis on road repair

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): In a meeting conducted by the Sahid Nagar Residential Welfare Forum in Bhubaneswar, attended by members of the forum, a decision was taken to highlight the urgent need for road repairs in Sahid Nagar area. The roads in the area have become severely damaged, prompting the forum to submit a memorandum to the municipality authorities.
The demand includes not only road repairs but also the removal of large trees growing over the sewer lines, which are causing obstructions.

Due to the poor condition of the roads, senior citizens are facing significant difficulties in commuting.
Additionally, when electricity lines are damaged or cut, residents of Sahid Nagar experience major inconveniences, and repairs are often delayed.
Complaints made about these problems often receive vague responses like “we have informed the JE office.” When residents visit the Junior Engineer’s (JE) office to enquire, they are informed that no information has been received, and there is confusion about where exactly the fault lies.
To address these issues promptly, a letter has also been submitted to the Tata company authorities, urging them to take action at the earliest.
