Shree Jagannath Pancharatra festival has commenced at Durga Temple in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): The Shree Jagannath Pancharatra festival has commenced at the Durga Temple located in Bapuji Nagar, Bhubaneswar.
The five-day religious programme will be held from February 5 to February 9, 2026 at the Bapuji Nagar Durga Temple.
The inaugural satsang was formally inaugurated by Pujya Janardan Patjosi Mohapatra, Nayak of the Chhatisa Nijog, through his auspicious hands.
On this occasion, Pujya Mahant Ramakrishna Das Mohapatra presided over the programme, while Pujya Babaji Satyananda Das Mohapatra served as the Executive President.
Prabhakar Mallik attended as the Secretary, and advisors Radhaballabh Singh, Baikuntha Mohapatra, Niranjan Das, Suresh Mishra, and Dr Narayan Mohapatra, among others, were present.
The religious event is being organised by the Shree Jagannath Pancharatra Prachar Samiti on the occasion of its eighth annual celebration.
During this five-day programme, Pujya Mahant Ramakrishna Das Maharaj and the national preacher of Lord Jagannath, Pujya Babaji Satyananda Das Maharaj, will grace the event and deliver their blessings and spiritual discourses.
Participants in today’s satsang included Trilochan Nayak, Prasanna Mohapatra, Rashmiranjan Pattnaik, Professor Ramachandra Mishra, Pushpalata Pradhan, Banshidhar Nayak, Gauranga Nayak, Debendra Das, and many others.
All devotees and members of the public have been cordially invited to participate in large numbers and seek divine blessings during this sacred programme.
